Could anyone give me some advice in what to do? I am currently a senior in college. I plan on taking the MCAT probably early June so I have time to study over the summer. When do I start applying for SMPs?

I plan on applying to the Gerogetown and BU SMPs as well as NYMC's accelerated program as I have read that these are held in the highest regard. I need time to study for the MCAT.

SMPs start in end of July/early August. IF you are taking the MCAT in June you should not be going for an SMP this fall at all.

The timeline for SMPs often is to apply RIGHT NOW for admission in the fall already having an MCAT score. Note some programs will accept you without an MCAT score but that's not in your best interest; there is no point doing an SMP unless you have an MD caliber MCAT score and the only way to know if youll have one is to take the MCAT.
