senior year first semester grades

I was searching around and i found out that many graduate schools, if they dont accept you by the end of the first semester senior year, will allow you to update them with your semester grades. I was wondering if this is true for DO schools. Example if I apply end of my junior year dont get accepted by the time my first semester senior grades come can I send them in to hopefully help increase my chance at admission?
