Does anyone know how much your senior year grades matter for dental schools? Meaning if you applied after your junior year, will schools even see your senior year grades, and if they do how bad do they have to be for them to evoke an acceptance? Asking for a friend...

They won't see them when they initially accept you; however, you'll be required to submit them to the dental school you're going to attend. Some schools will say they want you to get nothing lower than a "B", but I think that's just so you're not aiming for C's and end up not passing a class.

Acceptances are always conditional. It is most notably contingent on completing the prerequisites, satisfactory academic performance on any remaining coursework, and clearing a background check before matriculation. When you submit your final transcripts to the school that you attend, that is when they will be verifying that you completed the prerequisites, and that you didn't just let senioritis get the best of you after you got that acceptance.
