I have two tests tomorrow but I cant get myself to study. I thought I know never get this disease. Is there no cure?
There wasn't for me. I didn't do a damn thing for school towards the end. I had tons of AP's and thus didn't have the luxury of slacking off quite this early, but my grades plummeted after AP's for classes in which teachers insisted on trying to keep going.
I would imagine that colleges act on good faith that you won't slack off at the end of your senior year just because you have an acceptance. I actually had a friend who was rejected from his top undergrad school after demonstrating that he had an extreme downward trend in his grades as soon as he was accepted. Granted, this is probably a rare case, but it can still happen. I wouldn't slack off if I were you.
hahah, procrastination shall triumph once again!Same exact problem. I also have lots of Biology/AP homework and self-ap prep. I will get to it eventually! It's very hard to start working though.
Yeah, last year when I heard the word "senioritis" I shook my head and thought it was a seriously bad joke. uhm... I've had senioritis since nearly the beginning of the year. I've really tried to study, but I just can't see a reason to when high school is now of no importance. And it's to the point where I don't feel like high school is preparing me anymore than it already has for college. At that, the only AP I am doing this year is a pre-med req, so it's not like I care about the score (though I will try to get a 3 or 4). My grades are still fairly good, though =)
Oh well...
I don't think there is a cure, by the way.

Same here. Right now I'm just trying to do well on the 2 APs I'm taking because at least I can find the motivation for them because they will affect me next yearYeah, last year when I heard the word "senioritis" I shook my head and thought it was a seriously bad joke. uhm...
