sensitive yet healthy?

can gums be sensitive yet still healthy? I would think that if they're sensitive, that in itself makes them less healthy, no?

sensitive to what? and what kind of sensation? you mean pain? i think pain is felt in the gingiva in the following conditions:
moderate-severe mechanical trauma
severe gingivitis such as ulcerative and/or necrotizing.....other than that, gingivitis is pretty much painless.
perhaps you meant sensitive teeth?
