Sept-Oct Interview Dates?

Who receives these typically? According to SFmatch, nearly every program has its first round of interviews in September or October. I just looked through the interview thread from last year and literally no one was interviewing until very late October or early November. In fact, most interview invites weren't even given out until October. Considering SDN probably has the best applicants, who else could be getting these early interviews? Most schools have 3 main interview dates. You think the first round is only for maybe 10% of the interviewees and 90% are interviewed in Nov and December? I'm just trying to strategize with my application timing so that programs have my application in early enough to at least consider for the earlier interviews too. Don't want to miss any opportunities. Thanks!

Where do you see these sept/oct dates? on the excel file I downloaded from sfmatch most of the programs have nov/dec dates, with a few in late oct. A lot of application DEADLINES are in sept/oct though... could you have possibly been looking at that column?

Ah, yea, that's exactly what I did. Thanks for pointing that out. I was just using the Find Tool to look for every date with a 9 or 10 and didn't realize they even had a deadline column on there haha.

And yes I see that now. Nearly all interviews are Nov and Dec. A few places have late October. The earliest I see is early October at West Virginia and don't see any other programs like that.
