I'm a Canadian student. Due to my travel schedule I could only take the September MCAT.

It would be my first time due to busy summers.

AMCAS GPA: 3.6
Excellent ECs, AMCAS verified but just waiting on MCAT.

really depends on what the score is. since it's your first mcat you won't be verified or get most of your secondaries until the score is released in October. if you hit it out of the park (and I mean 35+) you **MIGHT** be okay with such a late submission. however if you get an average score you will be at a huge disadvantage and may end up with a very disappointing year.

If you were prudent, you would wait until next year to apply.

I had a friend in the same boat as you. He ended up getting a 38 and had a 3.8. He was waitlisted at every school. Every school said the same thing, basically that there is no reason why they waitlisted and then rejected him other than he applied late and the schools were already full.
