September retake

I have a horrid feeling that I need to retake the MCAT after 6/21 exam.

Here's my scenario. I already submitted and got verified for all schools, have all my LoRs ready, and currently retaking a course to do some gpa repair at the moment. As a result, I won't be getting the updated gpa until end of August. At the moment, I think all I could do is to get MCAT score that's high enough to receive the secondary ...

I've been trying to get a seat in August but they're all filled up; however, I think there is a higher potential that one of the September date might open up...eventually.

Am I screwed? Would there be a big difference between a retake in end August vs. early September?

A handful of days probably won't make much difference, the biggest thing is really going to be how you scored on 6/21...

How? Three scenarios:

a) x < 20...
b) 20< x < 25...
c) 25< x <30...

Well, we don't really know your GPA. Regardless you should be fine with option C. A September retake would put you pretty late in most people on SDNs books... well mine as well, but regardless wait for your results before your freak out too much.

I'm in a similar boat everything is in. I'm hoping if I retake late August and am released in late September and notify schools they might look at my new MCAT and I might be able to pull out some decent interviews by October. Anyone been in a similar situation in the past with any luck?
