Does anyone know the likelihood of being sent IIs after Thanksgiving? How many (what percentage) approximately are sent out later on?
I know it varies for each school, but I am asking in general.
I submitted all of my applications by August 8. Most were mid July. It feels like I would have heard by now from schools if I had a chance, and a lot of my friends have already been accepted.

I have one MD and one DO II already. They are both scheduled for the first week of December.

Ok I'm interested in this thread then too given that I don't have any MD II 's yet. LM 70 and complete by Labor Day at 12 schools.

Most of the schools I applied to will stop doing interviews by the end of February. I think it's safe to assume that each month/week schools typically interview the same number of students (e.g. schools that usually interviews 20 people per week is not going to suddenly interview 100 people the last week of Feb).

It seems like most people who get II's get to pick from a range of dates spanning from 2-6 weeks after the II is sent out (correct me if I'm wrong but most schools won't give you an II and expect you to interview the same week).

I'm gonna guess that most schools stop handing out II's by the beginning of February, so schools will generally keep sending out II's for another ~12 weeks give or take from today (and I'm also assuming II's will be comparably sparser by week 11 or 12).

Let's say that most schools started sending out II's in the beginning of August (aka ~16 weeks ago). That means II season is a little more than half over.

IDK if any of that makes sense but it helps me sleep at night.

I wish more schools did II distribution by time charts. Would love to see the data. I think UMich is the only school I've seen that provides their data.

Do you know where I can find UMich's II distribution time chart?

I was complete mid-August. LizzyM~69. One II before Thanksgiving (was also scheduled for first week of December) and 2 more IIs in January. Do your absolute best on the IIs you already have, and know there is a pretty good chance you will get more IIs after Thanksgiving.
