I'm sure this question has been asked a few times on here, but I haven't been able to find any posts that meet my specific situation. I am currently attending college and working toward an undergrad in health sciences. I want to go to medical school, but about two years ago (when I was 19) I was charged with possession of paraphernalia (marijuana) and in a state that does not allow record expungement. It is considered a drug charge and a misdemeanor, but I wasn't charged with possession of the drug itself (as previously stated). Will I be able to apply to medical school or will it be a fruitless endeavor?
