Seriously, guys. I need an answer. I'm posting my thread again so I can get some help. Pleease help me if you think you know.

I'm graduating this December and going abroad to do an internship in public
health. I'll be in India by the time fall semester grades come out.
On May 17th, I applied to 17 dental schools and haven't heard about interviews yet from any of them. I've only gotten one secondary app from Arizona. So here are my questions:
Do dental schools require fall semester grades after they come out?
Will I have to cancel my trip next semester and stay here to go do interviews if I don't get invited for any during this semester?
Can anyone help me?! With each day that passes and I don't receive anything in the mail, I die a little bit each time.

You are going to have to call the schools. Why worry for no reason when you can call the schools and ask. Although, you are asking a ton of "what if" type questions so they may not even be able to help you out.

I applaude you for working in public health in India. That is really awesome. But , no need to worry. Even if you do not get in this year, I am sure you will get in eventually. Enjoy the journey and realize that your experience in public health this coming semester will better prepare you for the future!

I understand your impatience and desire to quickly hear from and interview at dental schools.... unfortunately no one here can honestly tell you when and if you will interview or if you'll need to come back from India to interview. As far as Fall grades.... yes I think most schools would like to see them. AADSAS allows us to send an updated transcript in January or February I believe. If you are offered an interview and you really want to be a dentist, you may have to make the sacrifice and come back from your trip. It's all between you and the schools though.
