Service opportunities

Hi I am looking for some service opportunities to help boost my application when I apply in a couple years. If you count shadowing as service then a already have about 200+ hours logged already. I don't want to bank on just shadowing hours so I need some advice. Any thoughts?

Shadowing doesn't count. I volunteered at a food bank for awhile, just did 3 hours every Thursday. I also cooked meals at Ronald McDonald once a month and then random events here and there. I would recommend one steady volunteer opportunity that lets you come in the same time each week for a set amount of hours, then doing anything else that pops up that fits your schedule.
