Hey everyone I am considering visiting a third world country and teaming up with a dentist to provide his or her services to the underprivileged for a few days this summer. I was wondering if any of you are aware of people I could get in touch with to receive donations, I would prefer toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss etc. over monetary donations. Please let me know if someone can help out with this.

thank you!

Your dentist should be able to provide enough. I don't really understand the need for donations. Even more so if your dentist is partnering up with other dentists/organizations.
My boss goes out on dental missions every year and he purchases all the equipment to take with him overseas. The cost of dental equipment far outweighs the cost of toothbrushes and the like. And buying in bulk makes it pretty affordable, too.

I would actually reach out to your local dental society, dentists/hygienists in the area, and maybe some companies or groceries as well. You could hit up university clinics or start a GoFundMe type of thing online! Worst thing they can say is 'no'.

I second the GoFundMe idea.
