Setback/Failure as part of a team OK?

Quick question that has come up in writing secondary essays:

I have an example of a setback/failure in a group setting where, long story short, a team I was a part of fell short of our goal and we had to re-evaluate how we worked together in order to meet future goals. It has great themes of communication, accountability, and obviously teamwork, but I am wondering if secondary prompts want specifically personal setbacks/failures.

Practically, yes, we want personal perspectives and reflections. Theoretically (since we lack any details), your suggestion would be appropriate for a challenge essay.

Focus more on yourself within the context of the team. Ie how you failed and what you learned
