Setting up interview dates

Ideally I would like to be invited to an interview via email so I can workout the the best day in my schedule to travel to the school. But in the event that admissions calls you to set up an interview date, do they expect you to have potential interview dates set up in advance? First time applicant here, so I don't know what to expect...

Majority of interview invites are done through email.
I'm pretty sure you can tell Adcoms to let you call them back in a couple of minutes to sort out your schedule. It's not like they will rescind the interview offer if you don't give them a date within the 1st 10 sec of the call

99% of schools will work with you regarding your date. Some even offer their interview days right in the email (buffalo). Its not something I would worry about.
