Going Dental... When I open my new practice thinking of staying high tech with call reminders, email and SMS reminders via an automated solution vs the traditional receptionist calling to remind patients of their appointments. Was even thinking as far as having an automated receptionist greeting patients (in addition to one full time receptionist) with a centralized (shared) receptionist available through a touchscreen. The latter is wishful thinking however my real question is whether patients will ultimately be receptive to getting a reminder via automated attendant however with a provision that they can push 1 or 3 on touchtone to cancel or edit their appointment.
