could anyone clearify the following relationships? I'm confused from different books..

testosterone <-- LH only or LH/FSH
estrogen<-- FSH only or LH/FSH
progesterone<---LH only or LH/FSH

LH only----stimulates---interstital cells---->-make----testosterone + androgens
LH + Progesterone + Androgens----->-stimulate ---Sertoli cells----make sperm


FSH-->-stimulates---->-follicle-->-secretes--->-estrogen
LH--causes ovulation
Corpus Luteum----produces------>progesterone

estrogen progesterone together maintain endometrium lining.


I hope that helps. If you have Cliffs AP bio look at the chapter on Animal reproduction and development towards the end. I dont know the page number right now 👍👍🙂

Yeah, i'd agree with the above. Only corpus luteum also secretes estrogen I believe.
