Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone has a list of schools in terms of sGPA cutoffs?

Best rule of thumb:
Top DO schools: 3.1-3.25
Newest schools: 2.75-2.9
All the rest: ~3.0
I really wish there were a DO-SAR.

i am assuming this only applies to US applicants
For international, i guess it would be more like +0.5 for each
More like +0.0 , there really isnt any discrimination against Canadians at DO schools. As for other international students, I'm really not sure.i am assuming this only applies to US applicants

Most are at 3.0. Some are at 2.7/2.8, but they change year to year. For example when I applied 2 cycles ago most that are now 2.7 were 2.5. A couple are 3.2/3.25 like KCUMB and I want to say RVU. In general, its best not to apply with a GPA below a 3.0. If you have below that, then you should take retakes to bring your GPAs above that before you apply.
Thanks everyone for the replies I appreciate it! Yeah my cGPA is above 3, but my sGPA is below 3. I did okay on the MCAT so I think it's worth a shot for me to take a chance and apply. I do plan on taking some retakes at a CC here, and I should be able to get my sGPA up above 3 by the start of the next cycle and worse case I can apply then as well.
Its really up to you. If you don't care where you go, and need to start now, it's one thing, but know that being below the 3.0 cutoff on sGPA will automatically eliminate you from the running at 1/2 of all the DO schools out there. Also, of the ones I mentioned above that have lower cutoffs (CCOM, AZCOM, KCOM, and LECOM) short of a >30 MCAT, not many (if any) will look at an app with a <3.0 sGPA. Honestly, if you can wait or finish enough retakes this semester, it could mean the difference between having to attend the one place that accepts you, and actually having options on where you'll go for the next 4yrs.
Again, it's up to you, I just want to make sure you know what you're getting into. If you want to PM me your list of schools, I can tell you the cutoffs that I remember, but again that was two years ago.
Again, I appreciate it! Yeah I was able to get a >30 MCAT, so I feel like it's worth a shot. It's kind of a "you miss all the shots you don't take" thing for me. I'm only going to be applying to places that I'd actually want to attend, so worse case I can know that I did what I could, and apply again early next cycle with hopefully a stronger app. The only thing I'm worried about is if schools will look down on reapplicants, but as long as I show improvement it doesn't seem like that should be a problem.
If there's a change, they won't care about being a reapplicant (speaking specifically about DO schools now).
If you're dead set on applying this cycle, submit your primary ASAP. Two years ago when I applied with a slightly <3.0 GPA and a mid-thirties MCAT, I submitted my primary in Oct. and wasn't complete until Dec. By the time interviews came in, every place I was interviewed at was already full or close to full, so I was basically automatically waitlisted. In the end I got into my top choice DO school, so it worked out, but it was a rough spring, and I had some personal things that made it worth it for me to risk applying and potentially not getting in. The sooner you submit and get verified, the sooner you'll get and complete secondaries, and the sooner you'll get ii's.

If you don't mind, could you share with us where you are attending?
