Hi all,

I just received an invite to interview with St. George's. However, in it, they recommended that I take 3-4 upper level biomedical science courses. Has anyone else been told this? How difficult will it be to get in without them?

Thanks for the help.

If they're telling you that, you're probably not being considered for the 4 yr MD program.

Not sure if it's the same thing but I have a friend that was recommended to do a complete one semester program before she actually started. If that's the case, I'm not sure that you can actually decline and still get in.

That's the Charter Foundation Program (CFP) [previously called the Foundation to Medicine or FTM program]. It's an extra term including the term 1 subjects but with less than half the workload. I, highly recommend it if you've been out of school for a while.
