SGU Residency in California

Hey guys,

Does anyone have an update on the residency situation in Cali for those in the GSP program of SGU? Is their approval of students from this program still pending and any idea when a decision will be made on the GSP students eligibility in Cali?

Even SGU admin states that if you ever plan on even THINKING about Cali, then avoid the GSP program.

i called them last week. they said that the status still hasn't been changed---GSP hasn't been approved by California and NJ--and might not be retrospective. so DONT GO if you plan to practice in those stats.

I'll tell you the problem .......... COuntry of charter, a lot of States have made this an issue with Basic Sci since the days of Internet Basic Sci and St. Chris, both are not where you attend the school in the Country of charter so the quality is feared to be even less then it is in the country of charter. What SGU wants SGU may not get. The only way you will be attending in the Country of charter with SGU is if they gat a charter from the UK to be a Medical school, they do not have that, they have a business Lic. Really St. Chris has ruined this idea I think for ever.
