I've search the forums, and from what I've read from the posts SGU is a 4-year program. However, from their application form under Financial Information it reads Medicine: 5 years. And in the the literature they sent me, the brochure/catalog shows a sample Medical Sciences Years and shows an Academic Year Five.

So could someone please explain if the program is 4 or 5 years. This is quite confusing.

It is 4 years in actual time.

The 5-year part is created to allow for 5 years of student aid to be authorized, instead of 4.

So do you pay 4 or 5 years worth of that $33,000 per year tuition?

It is charged per semester at ~$167,000, for tuition alone, with many people taking out about ~$250,000 total for everything.
