I can't seem to find anything about application timeline on the SGU website. I know it's a rolling application, so I don't want to apply now, and then find out in december if I get in that I have until, let's say, january to decide, which would be before interviews from canadian schools I've applied to. So, I don't know when I would be contacted for an interview, or when I'd have to make a decision or anything. This is all assuming I get in to begin with...

thanks

Once your application is complete, they arrange an interview. You are considered for the semester you desire and you have to decide in a couple week after acceptance.

this was my fear. So, if I still want to hear from UBC I shouldn't even bother applying to SGU until march/april? Would I even have a chance applying that late?

if you apply too late there's always a possibility that the class will be full and you'll be placed on a waiting list or will have to reapply for the next semester. SGU needs $1,000US down payment to hold your spot. you can't defer acceptance to the next semester, you must reapply. if i were you i would apply to sgu early get in pay them to hold my spot but still go on your canadian interviews if you get into canada no big deal u wasted $1,000US but you'll save a lot more by going to a canadian school. if you don't get into canada then u have a spot at sgu and don't waste any time. $1,000 is really nothing if you think in the grand scheme of things.

ok, I also did not know what the requirements were once I had accepted. For instance if I had to close applications with any other universities or whatnot, and what the fee would have been. When is the latest that the $1000 holds a spot?

Up to the deadline of the $4000 installment on tuition.
