Via Facebook page for SGU GSP. I will call the CA medical board to confirm this.

STUDENTS OF ST. GEORGE’S UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
We are pleased and proud to announce that, following its intense
review process, the Medical Board of California voted to recognize the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, England (KBTGSP). The Board’s recognition was granted, retroactive to the program’s inception in January 2007. The recognition of the KBTGSPC, by the Medical Board of California, enables those SGU SOM students, who have completed, are presently enrolled or plan to enroll in the KBTGSP, to apply for clinical and residency training and licensure in the State of California.

Chancellor Charles Modica was present at the July 24, 2009 meeting of the Medical Board of California to answer any questions the Board may have had and to convey the appreciation of SGU for the Board’s diligence in maintaining high standards for medical education and its recognition of SGU’s ongoing compliance with those standards. We thank all the members of the Administration, Faculty, Staff and Student Body who contributed to the successful review of the KBTGSP by the Medical Board of California.
