I shadowed a couple of doctors at a clinic about a year ago. I only shadowed each of them for a couple of days. Should I add this to my work/activities section? I could put down the clinic number as the contact information, but it might make me look bad if med schools called the clinic and the doctors didn't remember me. Should I only record the shadowing I have done recently to make sure the med schools can verify I actually shadowed and just talk about earlier shadowing in my personal statement?

I suggest mentioning it in the same space as your recent shadowing, using the more recent contact in the header information, and just adding the older experience's doctor names/specialties/total hours at the end.
