When you guys were shadowing a dentist? What exactly did you do and see? I only shadowed for a very brief amount of time and am having difficulty writing a description of my activity there....Thanks!

jus be honest with wat u saw or did. the dentist i did had patients who wer not always comfortable with an undergraduate student helpin out. im only 21 n look like im 18 so i dont blame the patients lol. anyway, i answered fone calls, answered general patient queries, handled paperwork and files, and occasionally assisted the dentist in procedures wher the patients were comfortable with me being involved. so jus be honest....

I don't think they (admissions committee and interviewer) expect us to know the technical details of the field. They just want us to see what dentistry is all about and show that we understand what we are walking into for dental school.
