Now I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who has this problem...

Most of my shadowing hours were completed while I was still in undergrad and my schedule was more flexible, and allowed the opportunity to shadow in a dental office a few hours a week. I've applied to dental school twice now, and I've been rejected by schools twice. I have no doubt that the dentist I had gotten my LOR from for the previous application cycles will have no problem submitting another LOR for a third cycle, but I think it would be best if I could possibly re-new that relationship with the dentists in my community and gain more shadowing experience.

So, my question is... How does someone who works full-time accomplish this? Now that I'm out of school, my job is very demanding and the only free time I have really is on the weekends. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any solutions or advice?

Some dental offices are open on weekends!! how to find out? google dental offices in your areas/ call/ find out if they open on weekends.. hang up and show up ( request if you can talk to the dentist and explain your situation)!! But if you applied twice and got rejections, there might be other red flags on your application. Good luck
Oh, some offices offer late hours too, so you can go shadow after work

look on yelp for hours of dental offices, many are open weekends now

Can you look into why you were not accepted and work on those things? I'm sure the shadowing requirement had nothing to do with why you did not get in. You can ask for this information and see where the deficits lie, and start there.
