Shadowing hours?

I'm doing 4 hours/week, and by the time June 1 rolls around, I'll have been shadowing for exactly 5 months. this means I'll be putting down about 80 hours of shadowing on my application.

Is this an acceptable amount of hours?

Are there any schools that require something like at least 100 hours?

Also, I'm just shadowing a GP. Should I aim to shadow someone in a specialty?
