Hi guys!!! I hope everyone is staying safe. So I'm concerned about my shadowing hours. I have 110 hours from one general dentist. I was supposed to shadow a surgeon about 2 weeks ago but obviously it didn't happen due to what's going on. Does it look bad that I only shadow one dentist?? I have over 1500 hours of volunteer work, being a board member for a club, and research. I work as a behavioral technician for autistic children, too.

That's a lot of hours with one general dentist, but that said, no it doesn't look that bad. There are many applicants that have no other choice but to shadow one dentist or one clinic. In my experience, I think I usually see 2, so just one isn't a red flag. I hope a strong letter comes with your application from your dentist.
