Started by greenbean4606
Does anyone know if any dental schools have a minimum or recommended amount of hours that an applicant should have shadowing/observing a dentist? Thanks

After completing 40+ hours of shadowing in general dentistry, try visiting a periodontist, an endodontist, an orthodontist, a pedodontist, an oral surgeon, etc. ... When you've shadowed in all the dental specialties, you will have neared the 100 hr mark. 👍
Duplicate thread: I'm merging the two together.
just find a dentist that works on Saturdays... that is the only time I can shadow someone, and I do it for five/six hrs every week.
