Shadowing in Cath Lab, what should I wear?

A speedo.

Actually, if there's someone in the lab that you can get in touch with, it would be best to just ask them what the "dress code" is. If you can't, I'd recommend dressing professionally (it's not like you're going to get your hands dirty). If they want you in scrubs or something, they should be able to provide them. You'll never go wrong by showing up dressed professionally, especially in medicine.

So, what about scrubs and white coat?

If I show up with blazer, only to have to immediately change, I'll like as if I didn't know that I needed to wear scrubs, no?

Call ahead. Some hospitals will want you to change into their own scrubs anyway. Definitely don't sport a white coat as a premed tho.

You have a medical student white coat or a chemistry lab coat? Not the same thing and both are inappropriate unless you just haven't changed your status to medical student. You will very likely be told to change into scrubs, but dress to impress anyways. After the first time, show up as they want you.

Wear this and you'll be fine:

PS - Gun is leaded, so bring that in too.

Scrubs. Some hospitals/clinics have their own scrubs they want you to wear, so check on this first.

They will provide you with the rest (lead vest and neck guard).

I just did this recently and I'd go with the professional attire rather than scrubs. However, I would suggest bringing a pair of gym/comfortable shoes to change into. I accidentally forgot mine and after about 6 hours on my feet in dress shoes, I was paying for it.
