"Shadowing" or " Optometric Experience" what's the different?

Hi.
I am doing the application on the OtomCAS,
under the "Experience" section.
"Experience Type" there are 4 options: "employment, and Volunteer" is ok.
but: how to select: "Shadowing" or " Optometric Experience" ? what's the different?

As a Volunteer, I was practicing all kind of works and optometric related tasks in the Optometry Clinic
under the Optometry-Doctor supervision for the whole summer.

I should select "Shadowing" or " Optometric Experience" ? what’s the different?
and which is better for the working experience.

Please advise asap.

What kind tasks did you do in the clinic?

But it’s definitely Optometric experience. Shadowing is more of sitting and watching and learning.
