Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of splitting the cost on a 1 month access to Kaplan qbank with my gf and a buddy, plus maybe some other people. Does anyone have any experience sharing qbank? Thanks

I'm just looking to see if it's feasible/possible, and if so with how many people.

Do you need an interpreter?

Hizo is saying, "I'm really cheap and I don't want to spend money to purchase access to Qbank. Does anyone have a login/password combination that I can borrow?"

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok, I'll correct you.

I'm not American, I don't know everything there is to know about taking the usmle or how to study for it, so i came on these forums. I only know two other people in my class who are writing it, and I was wondering if we can a share password between my friend, my GF, and myself.

nice detective work champ

Here's some good information:

I wasn't busting your chops, btw. Good luck studying. For your information, I believe that what you are suggesting is against the terms of service brought forth by Kaplan Medical Inc. A login and password generally is never meant to be shared. However, I doubt anyone could prove that this happens nor would this type of behavior be actively investigated. Kaplan Qbank does offer self-assessment statistics which would be skewed if you were sharing.

thanks pox, i'd just heard of people doing it.

lots of people share qbank. It's not a matter of being cheap.

Ok. it is sort of. But we med students have to save every buck we can!

As far as self-assessment....... is it really that important? Can't you tell what you need to study based on the question stem and answer choices of the questions you answered incorrectly?

To each his own.

downside is that you can't tell which questions you have done vs someone else, so it is harder to gauge how you are doing.

I know this is a thread from 2005, but I have a related question. Does anyone know if more than one person can access qbank at once?
