I don't think you can buy them. You can go on nbme website and see 20 sample q's for each shelf which represent the easiest questions of the test but can give a decent idea of the question types. The best thing you can do is just study from UW/new kaplan CK qbanks if you are thinking about step 2 ck.
No problem, just keep in mind that these are the easiest examples. By the time you finish preparing for a shelf exam, you should miss very few of these questions. Then when you get to the shelf exam, you will find it much more difficult. So don't despair and think you are failing, that's just the way it works.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the NBOME does shelf exams....the NBME does.....those are the ones we take at the end of each clerkship. What you study with is up to you. The advice we're given is 'study something at least two hours. It doesn't matter what you study, but study at least two hours a night and you should pass'......
