shelf exam turnaround time?

how long does it take to get scores back from NBME? not your clerkship grade, but just the raw scores from the shelf? i think our people said 2 weeks for scores, and then 8 weeks for final course grade (shelf scores + comments = final course grade)? just wondering.

At our school, we take shelf exams on friday. The school can access the scores on the web on the wednseday of the second week after the shelf (ie, 12 days). it usually takes our registrar 2-7 days to get them back to us in our mailboxes at school. shelf grades depends on the course director. i got my ob grade in 3 weeks after taking the shelf which was like 3 days after i had gotten my shelf score. internal medicine took about 11 weeks after taking the shelf.

longest shelf return for me after (medicine, surgery, psych, peds) was 2 weeks.

shortest turnaround was 5 days and we found out our scores (peds).
