So I heard that we will be the very first class to have shelf exams for 4th year. What shelf exams? Does anyone have more info on this? I already asked my school and didn't get much of an answer.
Shelf exams for 4th year medical school?

We had a shelf for our EM rotation. We also had a test for ICU but it was not a shelf. Both are generally 4th year rotations at our school.

We didn't have shelf exams for fourth year, but rumor has it that Class of 2019 has to take shelf exams for EM and ambulatory (so there must be more than one family med shelf... honestly not sure how the latter will work).
