Quick question regarding shelf exams for biochem, phys and neuro....I have heard different things as to what to use for a review. Considering multiple finals and not a lot of time to go back a re-read all of the textbooks, what source is the best study guide for the shelves? I know kaplan is great for usmle, but will shelves be much more in depth than the step and therefore not prepare you as well? Have also heard brs is good, but the biochem seems to be very scattered. Any thoughts?

I used BRS biochemistry for the biochem board exam..I did above average, but I felt that reading half the book was a huge waste of time. Most of the people I talked to that did well used Rapid Review Series. For Physiology, BRS Phys is definitely the way to go. Can't help you with neuro though, I haven't had the board exam for that yet.
