Do many M2's take the "shelf"(NBME Basic Science Subject Exams)? My school administered Behavioral Science, Pharm, Micro/Immuno and Path. Just wondering if these were at all correlated to USMLE scores. I realize they would not be directly correlated to a Step 1 score given that they only cover one subject area. But would scoring consistently well on all of them suggest that one is "on the right track" for a decent score on Step 1? Thoughts?

we took shelf exams at my school for behavioral science and path. i have no idea how they correlate with board scores, but i would imagine that scoring well on them is a good indicator that you're on the right track for step 1, considering that the same people take care of both sets of exams.

Yeah, just looking for something to boost my confidence. My World avg changes on a day to day basis and I find myself forgetting things that I studied two day ago. It feels like MCAT studying x10. T-8 days...
