does anyone know how the shelf exams are graded? Is there a curve or is it a direct relationship between the number correct and percentage correlation??

Your clerkship director gets a "raw" score. They can do with it what they wish.

Most rotations at my school scale the average to 85 before factoring it into your final grade.
