I know a similar question was asked, but what're your guys thoughts on including shelf scores >90th percentile? If they don't show up anywhere else in the app. I know they should be reflected in clinical grades, but there were some clerkships where it only accounted for 20% of the final grade, in which case I got a high pass but got 95% on the shelf. Just trying to milk any accomplishment I can think of.

Dude no. Seriously, come on. If they are in the dean's letter that's one thing but don't come off as a tool. On a side note, I wish our school only counted a shelf for 20%!

thanks for the advice. I was leaning toward not doing it. I can't get them in my deans letter. Only if the clerkship director directly mentioned it in my final eval. As for wishing it only counted 20%, that leaves 80% subjective eval, which I have always done good but not great on.

Do you have a Chair/Dept letter? If so, perhaps it could be included there?
