This is a shout out to the number one OAT applicant this year, shermanmerman...he's fierce like ray lewis

Sorry that was the maturity coming out in my roomate.

But on a serious note, I am in bad shape if Im not even writing my OAT until late November? And also, what do you think the best way to study for it is? Did anyone have a certain method/ plan that was very effective for them?

Well, don't take it unless you are READY. It costs too much to be taking it again and again. HOWEVER - you're kind of at a disadvantage if you end up doing poorly and need to take it again, you have to wait 90 days in between re-takes and that puts you at late February. The deadline for most schools is March 1st for OAT scores. Study hard, and good luck!

I'm also taking it in late November. One of the schools I e-mailed said to wait until you're ready and I know a lot of them still accept applicants well after that... better to apply then not, in my opinion, if it's what you really want to do. So, um, study hard! That's what I'm doing. There's some poll responses here as to how people studied: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=7412
