Through out my preparation I have been using Goljan but now in my dedicated period it's very very hard for me to revise it as a chapter of it takes some 2 to 3 hrs. Should I switch to Pathoma? I just saw it and found it has 8 to 10 pages of chapter. What will you guys suggest.
Sorry for the redundancy of this Pathoma / Goljan question. But I'm stuck it a situation where I have no one better than you guys to share it with.
Thanx

I made the same switch and I would 100% advise you to go for it. You'll be surprised how much information pathoma packs into those 10 page chapters. Additionally, the book is extremely well organized and very methodical in how it provides information; all this makes for easy reading and high scores on qbanks.

ok thankyou very much, i'll start it asap. plus I was thinking just to see the images and tables of goljan while reading pathoma.

yea i would have honestly recommended using pathoma from the beginning because of how it emphasizes boards testable details so well. since path is the most high yield subject for boards i wouldn't hesitate to anyone to use both goljan and pathoma if they have many months of studying ahead of them (watch pathoma for your first exposure, get to know it, and then read goljan for the additional boards-testable details that pathoma doesn't cover). I'd say FA, UW, and Pathoma cover about 85-90% of the path that can be tested on boards, so that's why I like Goljan to fill in that remaining 10-15%

In your situation, yes, just focus exclusively on pathoma if you're in you dedicated study period
