Shortening of Forum Title

Due to restrictions of the forum platform, 50 characters is the current maximum for a title. Rather than attempt to fit every variation of physician or dental scientist in the forum title, it seems appropriate to remove the titles and simply use the title "Physician Scientists."

However, this is your forum. I'm happy to change the title to anything that the community feels is most appropriate. Please post in this thread if you have suggestions!

A broader term that might include other dual degree health professionals and scientists is Clinician Scientists. That includes DDS/PhDs, PharmD/PhDs, and even perhaps DVM/PhDs. Of interest, there is a MSTP funded DVM/PhD program at U Penn.
