I've already been accepted, and deposited at UConn, and personally i would love to attend, and really like the school. I also really liked Harvard, but i'm on the waitlist...should i academic update??
Details:
I took an IN in my directed study to finish more lab work...long story short i'm not done yet, but he's not going to be updating the grade any time soon (I have publishable data, so we're just waiting until i finish stuff)
My foreign language class i received an A, but my school gives an in progress (IP) until you finish the second semester (to ensure that people fulfill both semesters, which is needed to graduate anyway...uggh)
I have an A and a B
so my transcript looks like A, B, IN, IP => should i update with a 3.5? which lowers my 3.7ish gpa
My transcript WILL look like A, B, A/A- (research), A => 3.75 or 3.68 depending on whether i receive an A or A- in research
Does it look bad to not update? Should i update and then just submit a transcript to Harvard once i get the grades?
Thanks i REALLY need some input, much appreciated
