Should I also apply MD?

So I am applying to mostly DO schools, but I have decided that I want to add in my state MD schools as well. I have not yet submitted.

Is it worth submitting my AMCAS primary maybe in the next 2 days or is too late? Or should I stick with just DO? My transcripts and everything are already in as I was initially anticipating a higher MCAT score and was going to apply mostly MD.

I don't think there's any harm in trying! If you've got the time and resources, I say go for it. A lot of people apply both MD and DO for that same reason.
