I got tagged? You're better off tagging @Goro!

You've got some major issues here. Assuming you get that 2.68 past screens, you have equivalent to a 23 MCAT (your 496 is 37th percentile) and that's probably your biggest issue. Going to be pretty lethal. A 3.4 sGPA / 3.5 cGPA in your post-bacc is going to be problematic too, you're expected to really kick butt.

Any URM status or evidence you would practice for the underserved? What state are you a resident of? Like I said Goro can best advise you, but I expect unless you retake the MCAT with big improvement, you'll be told to maybe apply to the newest schools and to have a backup plan ready.

thank you for your prompt response. I think I am gonna take some time off to improve my verbal reasoning and retake the MCAT sometime next year. Also I intend to retake some of my classes in which I got C's in for grade replacement. Thank you for your input.

Did you study for the MCAT? Your Verbal score is in the bottom 15%, you definitely should be able to bring it up with some practice.

I did study for it. I have been struggling with it for quite a while. I think i am gonna take time off and just read read and read and improve my comprehension before a gander with the mcat again.

You got tagged because you're the SDN MCAT legend, who was kind enough to provide an MCAT conversion tables. Good work :clap:

That's probably a good idea. I recommend reading financial newspapers (like Wall Street Journal and Financial Times) or some really dense philosophy books to sharpen your comprehension. Keep reading few hours a day and you should be good.

Also, you have a 3.0 cGPA and a 2.6 sGPA? Am I reading this right? In that case, try to retake all C/D/F coursework to bump that GPA above a 3.2 at least. Your ECs are good though.

Good catch Lawper - @overallsk has your post-bacc included re-taking of C or lower prerequisites? If so, you need to recalculate your GPA a special way according to the DO grade replacement rules, and will likely see it rise a lot.
