Should I apply this cycle?

I took the OAT in December and did horribly (290), I'm retaking it March 16th.
My GPA is 3.4.
Good LORs, a lot of shadowing/volunteering hours including international missions. A lot of non optometry related volunteering hours.
I still have not submitted my Optomcas or my transcripts. Should I even bother applying this cycle?
Schools I like:
Salus PCO
AZCOPT
CCO
SCCO
NOVA
SCO but their OAT deadline is March 1st so I can't apply there

Yes!!! Definitely apply it doesn't hurt. The rest of your app looks pretty good. Worst case you'll get rejected but then you'll have an entire year to build up your app and show schools improvement. Also, I would email some schools (like SCO) and tell them how much you're interested in their school and if they can extend the deadline. It depends on the strictness of particular schools but I personally know of this happening before.

Apply ASAP! You might get interviewed and maybe an acceptance pending on your OAT scores. Make sure to call the schools and get their feedback. They are usually very nice and will guide you the right way
