Should I apply this this cycle or wait?

Make a long story short. Currently a junior with 83 credits. Will stay this summer and take 10 credit hours.
Only thing im worried about is my ECs and I havent taken my DAT yet. Aiming for 20+. Plan to submit on day UNO.

ECS: Job throughout undergrad
Roughly at 30 hours shadowing plan to hit 100+ by end of summer
Tech chair at predent club
Member of city club
Help tutor 1045/1046 chemistry

Your GPA is a little low but a 20+ DAT will make up for it.
Only apply to Howard and Meharry if you're URM.
Aim for those 100+ hours in shadowing and you will be good to go for next cycle.

A lot of people tend to post these threads without their DAT score its very hard to tell until the full picture is known

What he said pretty much. But without a DAT score of at least 21 minimum, you will need to add a significant number of schools to improve your chances. At the moment, your app isn't competitive and the only part that may potentially wow adcoms (besides DAT) is your personal statement.

I think you're competitive and stand a great chance. School list looks good. UNC is super-competitive and very tough for OOS, I might drop that one.

What school would you recommend instead of UNC.
