I'm applying to Uconn, BU, Tufts, and Buffalo. I'm from Boston and would like to stay in the region more or else. Do you think I should apply to more schools given my stats? Any suggestions?

Just to be on the safe side, everyone should apply to at least between 5 to 7 schools. You can never tell what might happen this application cycle and it's better to be safe than sorry.

I don't believe them. I interviewed at UCONN and really liked the school. UCONN was one of my top choices. If I decide to specialize I'll certainly apply to UCONN. I really felt Dr. Thibodeau (the dean of admissions) was a very honest person. He gave me very good advice. I still have his contact info.
Yeah, that's pretty scary stuff... (mental rape?! WTF) I'm starting to regret applying there from that crazy thread... NYU sounds like a good safety school, they let in pretty much everyone from what I figure (huge entering class).
