Would it be wrong to apply to 10-15 schools now but indicate that I'm retaking the MCAT? Is it possible that I wouldn't be given a second thought even If i make a 30+ on the retake due to the fact that I added those schools too early?

You can apply to as many schools as you want, no one is stopping you. Its just statistically speaking someone with a 20 is most likely not going to receive any interviews, much less acceptances. You can apply to the 10-15 schools now and indicate youre retaking the mcat, but that just means you are most likely going to get either silent rejections or decision deferrals (e.g. Put your file aside until a later date) until they see your score again on october. So regardless it will be most probable they are even going to conside you earliest on october anyway. Even then youll defintely need to get at least 26+ at that time. Thats why you really need to look into yourself to see if its plausible to do so before spending probably over $800 in primary application fees

You need to retake the MCAT. Maybe submit to one school you definitely don't care about to verify, then retake MCAT in Sept. Assuming you get a 26+ back in October, you can then immediately submit to all the other schools. Regardless, you have to retake the MCAT. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Consider your time off a good chance to spruce up all your ECs, as well as do everything you wanna do like travel before getting tied down in medical school.
