In terms of whether I should drop at all I really want to drop.

Drop because of your grade or because you're sick of it? There's less than a month left if it's a grade of lower than a C drop, if not, don't.

It's not a pre-req so I would figure it would be okay to drop, but this is where my other response comes in, it's kind of risky because if you get accepted no school wants to see any W's beyond the point of acceptance.

If you write 20 schools for "permission" do drop a class and one or two say no, what will you do?
